Brad Pitt In New Orleans For Global Green

Brad Pitt has arrived in New Orleans to promote Global Green. Brad is set to promote a rebuilding project in New Orleans’ Katrina devastated Ninth Ward. The project will create “zero energy affordable housing”. Brad will appear at a Tuesday morning board cutting ceremony that will kick off construction.

Eventually there will be five, single-family houses and an 18-unit apartment building. It’s all green, or sustainable architecture. It uses solar energy and the materials are all non-toxic, recycled, or otherwise environmentally sensitive.

Brad has worked closely with his friend from Global Green, Matt Petersen, to keep the project in line with his vision. Brad’s really interested in the architectural and environmental aspects. You have to hand it to him for taking such an interest and doing something so helpful for New Orleans.

Angelina and the kids have left Chicago. We aren’t sure if they are headed to New Orleans to meet Brad.
